The Greatest Need of World Evangelism
Romans 10:1 ¶ Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
The Apostle Paul showed by his own life that prayer is the greatest need of World Evangelism. As he prayed no doubt his heart desire for the salvation of Israel grew greater. Where Paul mentions Israel in this verse which people group could we insert. What people do we pray for so much that it is now our hearts desire for God to save.
You may say that there is no one and that you do not know where to begin. Would you begin by using the FirstBible Prayer Calendar to pray each day throughout the month for the top 100 unreached people groups in the 10/40 window. Just click on the link for your own calendar. As you pray my prayer is that God would grow your hearts desire for a specific group to be saved.
Thado Kuki Project – Update
Here at University Baptist Church we are keeping a running total each week on a hallway bulletin board that everyone can see. Before we receive our regular offering on Sunday’s AM and PM, we ask for everyone to go into their pockets and pocket books and get out their loose change for the week. Some may not have change so they get out a dollar bill and hold it up in the air with their hands. Then we ask all the boys and girls to go around the auditorium and bring the money to put in either the boys or girls buckets on the balance scale. Many churches do this during VBS but we use this at other times for special offerings. After two Sunday’s we have taken up $241.76 of our goal of $1000. We still have 10 weeks left before we stop. I believe that other churches could use this for the Thado Kuki Project and help us raise $5000 that we need. Just last night I received another call from a pastor who said they were going to give $500 toward this project. Praise the Lord!!!! God does want us to get His word to those who have never had it. Will you help?
