2011 FirstBible-Atlanta Conference

Dear Pastor/Missionary,
I want to invite you to set aside Monday, November 21st to come and be part of a FirstBible Atlanta Conference with Dr. Charles Keen at University Baptist Church. Dr. Keen will be sharing with us his burden of reaching the “unreached” people groups in the 10/40 Window. As you know, we have just reached 7 billion in world population and one-half of this number still needs the gospel for the first time in their language.
While we are being “thankful” during this season of Thanksgiving, many are still waiting for the good news of Jesus Christ to come to their people.
Please fill out the information below and submit to us so we may adequately prepare materials and a meal for all who will attend.

Pray for the Velazquez Family
Thank you to each of you who have sent messages of condolences on behalf of our Spanish Pastor Raul Velazquez and his family in the tragic loss of their two oldest sons, Raul and Abraham. The family is indeed thankful for your prayers during this time. Raul leaves behind a wife, Maria and a son, Raul Jr. age 4. Abraham has only been back in the States with his family for a short time. I know that Bro. Raul, his wife Rosalba, his daughter Judith, and sons Fernando and Santiago are leaning on the strong arms of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
The Lord spoke to Paul and said, “. . . my grace is sufficient for thee, for my strength is made perfect in weakness . . .”. I can say with assurance that this family, though weak humanly, they are strong in the Lord spiritually.

Wednesday, October 19th – 11:00am

This will be a double funeral service with both, Raul and Abraham, lying in state from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the church prior to the service.
